Gratitude Practice – Self-Reflection

Original oil painting showing beautiful Autumn forest on canvas. Modern Impressionism

Today is the last day of November and the final day of gratitude practice posts. Even though this series is at an end, keep going with what you and your family have started. What you have started is something to be commended. Working towards developing a new practice is not always easy and yet you all have stuck with it! Congratulations!

The final practice of the series revolves around self-reflection. Self-reflection allows us to take stock, slow down, and really check-in with ourselves. After a month of focusing on gratitude, how do you feel? What has changed in your life? What has changed in your family, friends, and/or coworkers? What would you like to cultivate moving forward? Spend time reflecting on these questions and notice what comes up for you. Doing this as a family allows for more conversation around this topic and the chance to learn from each other. This was your journey and you did it! Thank yourself and each other for all your hard work.
