Whole HeARTs Commitment to the Community

The therapists and staff at the Whole HeARTs Family Center are committed to giving back to the local community.  With our specialties and experience in working with children, parents, art therapy and dance movement therapy, we are often asked to contribute information and advice through TV and radio interviews.  We also are avid in contributing to our fields and have published a number of articles in Colorado Parent magazine along with various Art Therapy, Dance Movement Therapy and medical journals, publications and books.  We are also frequently invited to speak both locally as well as Nationally about the unique work that we do.
Anya Beebe MA, LPC Art Therapist and Certified COPE Parent Trainer

With her expertise in using in counseling, art therapy and parent coaching, Anya has given workshops in the Denver area, at Naropa University, and around the country.  She is a published author and has been interviewed internationally for her research in art therapy.  After her clinical research using art therapy with children with chronic asthma at National Jewish Health, Anya’s work was published in variety of publications including: The Journal of Asthma and Clinical Immunology, the American Art Therapy Association publication and in a chapter in the book, “Art Therapy in Health Care”, edited by Cathy Malchiodi. In addition, Anya has also been a parenting expert on Channels 7 & 9 and has written, “The Parent Coach” articles for Colorado Parent Magazine.

Kimberlee Bow, MA, LPC, R-DMT, CT

Kimberlee enjoys using her master’s education to serve the community that has given so much to her. Since graduating, she has became involved with Mental Health of America serving at risk youth and elders. Most recently, Kimberlee has been able to expand her work into the community leading intergenerational groups as well as movement groups for Veterans. Passionate about supporting others who are in caregiver roles, she also facilitates support groups for caregivers of people who have been diagnosed with Dementia. Because of her important work in community outreach, Kimberlee has been asked to write about and present at local and national conferences about her approach in the field of dance/movement therapy. Furthermore, Kimberlee is actively involved in several committees for local and national organizations.
